The company Lesimpex Ltd., producers of sawn timber and finished wood products, Vinka Vodopivca Street 22, Nova Gorica, was founded on 12th September 1989.

The small family business with three employees constructed wooden frames for the needs of a nearby factory making upholstered furniture. The company complemented its production program and with the production of a dog kennel, independently entered into the market.

Today, the company Lesimpex has employees totalling almost 100 persons who annually produce more than 2500 panel houses, more than 1500 (25 mm, 33 mm and 45 mm) log houses, and sell numerous residential prefabricated houses each month, even those with 70 m2 floor surface area and wall thickness above 100 mm, with these built throughout Europe as well as in South Africa. A feature of our prefabricated houses is construction on a cross-joint, the manufacture from laminated spruce logs, the use of threaded stems, flexibility, rapid installation and comfortable, natural, human and eco-friendly living. Numerous types of pergola, car ports, decorative nets and wind walls adorn the houses of buyers in Italy, Spain Greece, Slovenia, Croatia and elsewhere in the world.

In the Lesimpex company vision, we have outlined an export-oriented path. We are the largest producers of a quality garden program in Slovenia and it is our goal to become one of the three largest providers of this type of program in Italy.

With our environmentally adjusted sales approach and by building a distribution network, we intend to double exports to Japan, Spain, Greece and Croatia, within the next three years. With our own products we wish to engage in trade with the rest of the countries in Europe and beyond.

Our permanent concern for high quality, strict control, ensuring the traceability of products and fast and efficient service is a constant in the Lesimpex company policy. We are in the process of acquiring CEE and TUV certificates.

The number of employees, the company’s organisational structure and technical equipment technology, allow Lesimpex flexibility and rapid adjustment to market requirements.
